Forest manager Ange Postecoglou insists that any pressure regarding his position will not influence his approach.
The club is without a victory in his first six matches since the coach replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at the club's stadium.
A group of Forest fans shouted, "you're getting sacked in the morning", at the ex- Tottenham and Celtic manager following Thursday's 3-2 Europa League loss at home to the Danish side.
Postecoglou, however, mentioned that the European title he won at Tottenham last season, before being sacked in the summer, was proof he does not let pressure to affect his management.
"It doesn't enter my head," he added. "My responsibility lies in ensuring this football club progresses and reaches a position where it can compete for titles," said Postecoglou.
"If I start putting timelines to that or worry about what is going to happen soon then I am not fulfilling the role I have been given.
"I just don't think it is helpful to anyone. Ultimately, I have to concentrate on the environment, the practice sessions, the style of play, and as I said recently, I am still very, very strong in my belief that we are not too far away.
"To explain - I was aware I was getting sacked at Tottenham approximately three or four months before I was, but that didn't stop me from winning something."
The 60-year-old joined Spurs from Celtic in 2023 and fans initially warmed to the Australian for his offensive style of play, with the Londoners ending up 5th in the Premier League during his first season.
Postecoglou's following season was challenging as Spurs finished fourth from bottom in the table. He nevertheless, lead the club to their first trophy in 17 years as they defeated Manchester United in the Europa League final.
Forest visit Newcastle United on the weekend (2pm UK time).
With the current poor run of results, there is little doubt it has been a difficult start for Postecoglou.
And the statistics illustrate just how poor Forest have performed since his arrival.
Paul Jewell holds the unenviable mark, having failed to win in his first 27 games as Derby County boss in the 2007/08 campaign.
Nuno was fired after only three matches of this campaign when Forest were 10th in the table. They are now seventeenth, having drawn one and been defeated twice of their three league matches under Postecoglou.
He is the initial full-time Forest coach in a century not to win his first six matches.
This season should have been one of Nottingham Forest's best in recent times. Qualification for Europe for the first time in three decades, the strongest team this century and everyone at the club working towards the same direction.
Somehow, at least for now, that has all gone out of the window. Nuno has departed, displays have been abject and on Thursday night the City Ground turned on the recent appointment Ange Postecoglou after only six matches.
And yet it's typically characteristic Forest, a club that veers from success to internal crisis like a novice motorist who can't stay in a traffic line.
With games against Newcastle, the Blues, Porto, the Cherries and the Red Devils approaching, it's very hard to say whether he can reverse the situation before it becomes even more negative.
But ask any fan and they'll tell you the identical thing, it's always eventful at Nottingham Forest.
