No Beneficial Result - Citizens Across the US Voice Concerns Regarding the Funding Lapse

US lawmakers from the two political sides are assigning blame as numerous of federal staff remain on furlough and the shutdown persists with no end in view.

The Democratic Party have declined to support the Republican spending plan unless expiring medical assistance that they say many working families depend on are renewed.

Republicans want the opposition to approve a short-term bill first and then they can address the support payments.

The Republicans have fifty-three supporters, they must secure sixty to pass the bill. Could it be that challenging to reach agreement over seven votes so that US citizens avoid harm?

If this drags on for another week or two, the truth is US citizens are being hurt, American citizens are being influenced by this and someone must step up to be the grown-up in the group.

I believe sometimes lawmakers are so far away from the people, the average individual living their lives, so they overlook what the struggle is like and I feel they should take that into consideration, notably if it's 750,000 workers that are unpaid.

That's a large group of citizens not getting paid, that's a lot of Americans not putting their income back into the economic system. The public are just being hurt.

I'm anxious because there is no good outcome with the government being inactive.

I'm highly nervous about what's going to occur to low-income families, students who need federal scholarships and federal employees.

But this is a good fight for the Democratic Party to pursue. Certainly jobs are going to be eliminated, programmes are going to face budget shortfalls, which is so unfortunate but I feel that is responsibility that the the left would have on their record.

I don't know if the Democratic leadership has a strategy for an exit strategy to discussions or how to get the group out of this.

I'm currently at a stage where I'm somewhat nervous because government shutdowns don't help anyone.

I'm going to be okay, but for others who needs the federal system, who plans to go visit a federal park or museum, they're going to be impacted, if not immediately, then in the coming days.

The administration leader is a bully and if you acquiesce to a bully he's going to ask for additional concessions, that's how such individuals behave. So you have to stand up to a aggressor to make him realise you're not going to give things up for free.
